A partir da percepção de que música e imagem se misturam, e não se sabe ao certo, quando uma começa e a outra termina, o projeto é um convite a divagação, a uma experiência sonora e visual. Enxergamos algo diferente quando escutamos um som, e não vemos a mesma coisa quando enxergamos uma imagem. MEXIDO extrapola os registros fonográficos e a linguagem do videoclipe formando paisagens, planos, imagens, narrativas.

Construído a várias mãos, por pessoas que admiramos e que o abraçaram de corações abertos. Fizemos convites espontâneos para André Thitcho, Chris Scullion, Jovem Palerosi, Patrícia Rocha a.k.a. Mut, Maurício Takara e Tiago Macedo a.k.a. Tchilli Rodriguez comporem uma coletânea de novas “canções” sob o olhar, ou melhor, sob a escuta, dos nossos antigos “sonidos”.

Assim como a troca que tivemos com os artistas sonoros, nessa etapa, fizemos uma proposta a realizadores e realizadoras parceir@s para compor um "re-olhar" sobre as obras do álbum. Após alguns meses, recebemos de Lara Jacoski, Cassiana Maranha, Taciano Valério, Edu Felistoque, Viquitor Burgos, Jáder Barreto Lima e Rafaella Pereira de Lima e Dellani Lima filmes que nos fizeram celebrar a vida!

From the perception that music and image blend each other, and its not sure when one starts and the other ends, the project is an invitation to wander, to sound and vision experience. We perceive something diferent when we hear a sound, and don't see the same things on an image . MEXIDO go beyound phonographic records and video clip language putting together sights, landscapes, images, narratives.

Built by many hands, by people we admire and embraced it with open hearts. We made espontaneous invitations to André Thitcho, Chris Scullion, Jovem Palerosi, Patrícia Rocha a.k.a. Mut, Maurício Takara and Tiago Macedo a.k.a. Tchilli Rodriguez, to compose an selection of new 'songs', under the viewing, or better, the hearing, of our old sounds.

As well as the exchange we had with sound artists, on the next step, we made an invitation to fellow directors to compose an visual relook on the album works. After a few months, we receive from Lara Jacoski, Cassiana Maranha, Taciano Valério, Edu Felistoque, Viquitor Burgos, Jáder Barreto Lima and Rafaella Pereira de Lima and Dellani Lima films that made us celebrate life.
